# Token Allocation

$CAFE has a total supply of 900,000,000. 100% of the tokens will be distributed gradually over 36 months.

### Soul Cafe NFT Staking

35% of the total supply of $CAFE is reserved for members who stake their Soul Cafe NFTs. The NFTs eligible for staking include: Soul Cafe Genesis, Soul Cafe Cards, Soul Cafe Frens, Soul Cafe Originals and Soul Cafe Companions. As of today (7th April 2022), only genesis NFTs are out in circulation. Total $CAFE allocated for SC NFT staking is 360 million and the breakdown is as follows:

### Brewhouse

25% of the total initial supply of $CAFE is reserved for projects incubating under Brewhouse. The supply will gradually unlock over 36 months. By integrating $CAFE to Brewhouse, we envision a gamified ecosystem where the tokens are awarded to members who mint, stake and engage with the projects. In the future, a significant portion of $CAFE spent by members will trickle down to Brewhouse to further sustain the projects.

### Rewards

Sprout labs will be reserving 10% of $CAFE for community rewards. Tokens will be used to reward liquidity providers of the $CAFE-$ETH pair on Sushiswap/ Uniswap, initial stakers of $CAFE and community members participating in various events, competitions and challenges. \

### Contributors

5% of the total supply is reserved to partially remunerate high contributing members of the cafe and hires. Initially, 100% of the tokens are locked for 12 months and then it is gradually unlocked every month for 18 months.

### Future Investors

10% of the total supply is reserved for future investors. Like contributors, 100% of the tokens are locked for 12 months and then gradually unlocked every month for 18 months.

### Sprout Labs

Sprout Labs is the team behind Soul Cafe and Brewhouse. 15% of the tokens are reserved to incentivize the team to keep building. Similar to contributors and future investors, 100% of the tokens are locked for 12 months and then gradually unlocked every month for 18 months.
